Ashley Cole is an actress, writer, and producer hailing from New York with a passion for comedy and an irresistible urge to create. After college, she was quickly cast in the role of “Accountant” in the critically unacclaimed production of The Life Society Said She Should Want—complete with benefits, a 401(k), and a clear path to partnership at PwC. However, after a very brief run, she left the show, traded spreadsheets for scripts, and never looked back.

Opting for fulfillment over practicality changed Ashley’s life. She immediately immersed herself in consistent study with renowned acting coaches Bob Krakower and Allen Savage, while also studying improv at UCB. Determined to create opportunities rather than wait for them, Ashley began writing and producing original work— from web series and short films to live theatre staged in unexpected places.

In 2015, after breaking her neck in a ladder accident, Ashley explored the myriad of ways to find humor in the otherwise terrifying experience. The result was Lily & Anne, her first comedy web series, which caught the attention of industry veteran Tony Thomas, who served as a mentor further developing the series.

Ashley continues to write, produce, and perform original work that blends sharp comedy with genuine human connection. Most recently, she staged a live performance of her television comedy pilot, Lodged, at the Houdini Estate—a fittingly unconventional venue for an artist who has never been particularly interested in following the expected path. She continues to build her life and career between New York, Los Angeles, and Rome.
